Model Overview
The Lotus Emira has two gas powered engine configurations: a 2.0L 4-Cylinder, or a supercharged 3.5L V6. The 2.0L engine makes 360 horsepower, and 317 lb.-ft of torque and it is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. T the 3.5L supercharged setup generates 400 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft of torque, and it is paired to a six-speed manual transmission, but with the six-speed automatic you can get an extra 7 pound-feet of torque. The V6 first edition also has a 0-60mph time of 4.2 seconds.

The First Edition trim sports the 2.0L 4-Cylinder engine paired with an eight-speed transmission in a Rear-wheel drive configuration, capable of reaching speeds of up to 180 mph. Future owners also have various wheel options to choose from, multiple paint color configurations, and 7 upholstery options. The First edition is anticipated to come out in late 2024.

The Emira V6 First Edition comes equipped with the Touring chassis and a Titanium exhaust finisher. The Power steering is hydraulic based instead of electric, giving the car a different feel. The Emira also has Two-piece brake disks with branding, emergency brake assist (EBA), and selectable Drive Modes.

The exterior comes with 20-inch ultra-lightweight v-spoke Forged Diamond cut alloy wheels, LED Headlamps & Taillamps, Welcome home lighting, Auto lights, and daytime running lights. The door mirrors are power-folding and heated.

The interior of the Emira is adorned with Black Nappa leather, 12-way adjustable seats including seat and mirrors memory, armrests, and three heat settings for the seats. Buyers can also choose from 3 other Nappa leather trim options, or the black Alcantara option which can be modified with grey, yellow, or red stitching.

Interior tech features include a large 12.3-inch TFT instrument cluster, 10.25-inch MMI, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, a navigation system, and Bluetooth. Other interior features include USB sockets, 12v Socket, DAB Radio, and Homelink.

The Emira features different Black Packs for each trim. The 2.0L has a Lower Black Pack which adds Front Air blades, a front splitter side sills and a Rear Diffuser. It also has a Full Black Pack which adds additional features on top of the Lower black Pack including a Gloss black roof panel, cantrails, mirror backs, exhaust tailpipe finishers, and a rear Lotus Logo.

The V6 First Edition has the option to get a Lower Black Pack which adds Front Air blades, a front splitter side sills and a Rear Diffuser. The Extended Lower Black Pack adds on to the Lower Black Pack by adding the rear LOTUS Logo, and the exhaust piper finishers but not the black roof. The Full Black Pack includes the black roof in addition to the other black bits included on the other packages.

The EPA figures for the V6 First Edition trim have been released, with the V6 managing 16 MPG in the city, 24 MPG on the highway, and a combined 19 MPG.

For 2025, Lotus has added the Emira model to its lineup! It is also the last model to have an internal combustion engine, waving goodbye to Lotus' Gas-Powered Legacy, and opening the door to new electric possibilities. The Emira comes in two trims: the V6 first Edition and the First edition with the 2.0L 4-Cylinder engine.
