How To Program A Ford Key Fob

Learning how to program your keyless entry Ford key fob is an easy task that can be done right in your Logan driveway, but we recommend reading through the instructions once or twice before you begin, since the process will be quick. 

1. Close all the doors to your truck, then open the driver-side door. Press the UNLOCK button on the driver-side car door. 
2. Turn the ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times. Do this within 10 seconds, making sure the 8th time lands on RUN. This will enter you in programming mode. The doors will then lock and unlock on their own. (Note: If the doors don’t cycle, turn the key faster. Your car may not have keyless entry if you still can’t get the doors locks to cycle.) 
3. Press any button on your Ford key fob to be programmed. Do this within 8 seconds of the doors cycling. The door locks will cycle again to confirm that keyless entry remorse is programmed and ready to use.
4. If you have a second keyfob, press any button on the second remote to program it. Again, do this within 8 seconds to cycle the door locks. 
5. When you’re finished programming all your Ford key fobs, turn the ignition to OFF. The locks will cycle one more time to confirm that programming is complete.
