The GMC Sierra HD comes in many different configurations. The 2500 versions come in one of three body styles -- regular cab with a long bed, crew cab with a short bed and crew cab with a long bed. Following a full redesign for 2015, the 2016 GMC Sierra HD features a host of small improvements. Among them are standard HID projector-beam headlights with LED running lights and a new hydraulically assisted power steering system. New options include wireless phone charging, IntelliLink with improved processing and either 7- or 8-inch touchscreen, and remote locking tailgate. A new fifth-wheel tow package is also available.

The GMC Sierra HD derives a lot of value from being extremely customizable. In its most basic form, the Sierra HD is a simple work truck, albeit an extremely capable one.
